Mt. Hood Hop Profile
Another USDA classic with Hallertau heritage, Mt. Hood was released in 1989 as a triploid daughter to Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Known as an aroma hop with smooth bittering and a delicate flavor profile with spicy, lemongrass, and herbal notes, it’s a versatile choice for German-style lagers and traditional ales. In good company among German-derived, American lager hops, Mt. Hood is a half-sister to Liberty and Crystal. A clean, classic aroma hop with timeless versatility.
