Lubelski Hops
Lubelski Hops (Lublin)
Lubelski (also referred to as Lublin) is the classic Polish noble-type aroma variety, named for the Lublin region. Thought to descend from Saaz selections, it delivers that refined, continental profile with a distinctly Polish accent. Expect delicate spice over floral and herbal tones that fit effortlessly into traditional lagers and modern sessionable styles.
All imported hop varieties are Type-90 hop pellets.

What you’ll experience
In the rub: gentle spice with soft floral and herbal notes. Some lots show tea and lemon.
In the beer: classic noble character, clean bitterness, and a light, woody earthiness that supports rather than dominates.
Overall vibe: That highly sought after noble character that makes it a solid replacement or helping hop for Saaz.
Why brewers love it
True “noble” aroma with high humulene and notable farnesene.
Ideal for traditional and regional styles where subtlety matters.
How to use it
Kettle additions for classic spice and a smooth bitterness. Cold side or dry hop for a touch more floral and citrus lift.
Dry hop at restrained rates when you want background floral to pop without pulling out some of the spice and juniper elements.
Agronomy notes
Lubelski is among Poland’s most established varieties and continues to see healthy interest. The 2024–2025 Barth-Haas report notes Lubelski acreage rising year over year to meet demand.
