HopHaze™ is available in 1kg and 3.5kg cartons, with the 20kg size available by special order.

HopHaze Description from the Manufacturer:

HopHaze™ is a proprietary aqueous formulation that is derived from 100% hop-derived ingredients. It is produced from a CO2 extract of hops (Humulus lupulus). HopHaze™ offers the brewer a hop-based product that imparts haze to beer. In the United States, the components that make up this product are generally recognized as safe (GRAS) in accordance with US FDA regulation 21 CFR 182.20.

Product Use: HopHaze™ can impart varying levels of haze to beer depending on the volume of the product that is added. The recommended point of addition is post-fermentation and post-filtration. At the point of addition, adequate mixing of HopHaze™ and beer should occur. This can be accomplished through addition of the product on the suction side of a centrifugal pump. Do not dose HopHaze™ in close proximity to CO2 addition points. Losses of HopHaze™ can occur due to localized pH reduction by CO2. The best practice is to add HopHaze™ downstream some distance away from CO2 inlets. A good starting point for gauging the haze potential of HopHaze™ is by using an addition rate of 500 mg of the product per 1 L of beer or 177 mg (174 μL) per 12 oz (355 mL) bottle. Adjust the amount of HopHaze™ accordingly depending upon the level of haze desired.

What Brewers Are Saying About HopHaze

"One of the challenges of hazy IPAs, or any hazy beer style, is to make a stable haze that doesn’t settle out across time. Nobody wants their beer to look like a snow globe, and nobody wants to experience a bunch of sediment either. Haze stability has been an ongoing technical challenge for brewers for quite some time" - Joe Casey, Brewmaster Anheuser-Busch Brewers Collective
