Pacific Gem Hops
Pacific Gem Hops
New Zealand Pacific Gem Hop Profile
Initially released in 1987 by the New Zealand Institute for Plant and Food Research, Pacific Gem offers pleasant bittering (13-16% AA) and a balanced profile of cohumulone, myrcene, and humulene. Aroma of toasted oak that blends with ripe blackberries and sweet citrus make Pacific Gem a fine hop for darker beers like stouts. Although it was originally introduced as a bittering hop, Pacific Gem has been used across many styles and applications. Beautiful bittering, unique flavor, a rare gem.
