Nugget Hop Profile
Released in 1984, Nugget was bred as a high alpha hop by the USDA and has since become mainstay in many bigger beer styles like IPAs and stouts. Though it's primarily celebrated for its clean bittering (11-16%), Nugget offers some flavorful advantages as a dual-purpose variety with heavy notes of herbal and pine resin, and a kick of grapefruit zest. The reliable secret weapon that gives depth and structure to big beers.
