German Herkules Hop Profile
Herkules is a German high alpha variety that was released in 2005 by the Hop Research Center in Hüll. While Herkules is usually prized for its powerful bittering potential, but it also offers up a complex aromatic character that ranges from melon and citrus, to floral and piney, to spicy and menthol. Herkules is a high-yielding variety that usually yields between 2,200 - 2,500 pounds per acre.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the increasing climate change pressures in the growing region, 2022 crop year German hops might fall below traditional analytical ranges.
