White Wheat Malt is an extremely light malt, made from North American winter white wheat. Much like other malted grains, it has a sweet, malty taste, but it also has a subtle hint of fruit flavors. White wheat malts can produce beers with great body, due to their high protein content, which enhances head formation and retention. White wheat malts can mill with more ease than other red wheats and are typically better suited for Belgian white beers. It is great for all wheat-style beers.
