Hop Tub™: Where Technology Meets Tradition

This latest version of the Hop Tub™ includes high-volume jets for maximum circulation. These jets are perfect for active dry hopping where brewers want to maximize flavor and aroma, but decrease the overall contact and process time. Active dry hopping allows brewers to turn tanks faster by shaving days off of dry hopping.

Hop Tub™ also comes loaded with three temperature presets for easy whirlpooling action. Each temperature range is set to capture specific aroma compounds so you can target everything from specific terpenes to thiol precursors. And for only a small monthly subscription fee, brewers can unlock additional temperature presets and even get the ability to set their own.

Power Up Your Sours

Hop Tub™ is also a dream for mixed fermentation brewers because it is an easy way to cultivate and propagate your own sour cultures. Part coolship (or "koelschip" in the old tongue) and part yeast brink, Hop Tub™ includes industry-leading in-line filters to snag any unwanted leg, beard, or head hairs. This allows brewers to introduce their own microbiome to any batch and provides a convenient way to unwind after a long brew day.

Anecdotally the research brewers at Hop Tub™ found that leaving some hairs in solution improved overall protein content, head retention, and mouthfeel. 5-8g of hair per barrel seemed to be the sweet spot.
