German Hallertau Tradition Hop Profile
Hallertau Tradition is a German variety bred by the Hüll Research Center as a successor to Hallertau Mittelfrüh. Often compared to its predecessor, Hallertau Tradition offers moderate alpha (4-7%) and a refined noble aroma of herbs and fresh grass, with subtle notes of apricot, orange, and cassis. Agronomically, Tradition stands out in the field due to good yields, stable growing patterns and strong disease resistance. Classic noble character, bred for modern reliability.
Tariffs are now applied to all European hops imported into the U.S. for the 2025 crop only. You will see a separate line item in your cart and at checkout reflecting the 12.5% tariff. If you have any questions, please reach out.
