East Kent Golding [EKG] Hops
East Kent Golding Hops
United Kingdom East Kent Golding Hop Profile
Introduced in 1790, East Kent Golding has one of the longest lineages in the hop industry. Bred from a wild Canterbury Whitebine variety, EKG went on to define noble hop character with refined aromas of spice and citrus, setting the standard for authentic "English" flavor. While EKG is often used in crisp, refreshing lagers, it complements a wide range of traditional styles, including English bitters, porters and Belgian ales. The quintessential English hop that defined generations of beer.
All imported hop varieties are Type-90 hop pellets.
