German Callista Hop Profile
Released by the Hüll Hop Research Center in 2016, Callista is a German variety whose name means "most beautiful" in Greek. Callista has low alpha (2-5%) yet delivers a cocktail of flavors like strawberry, orange, ruby red grapefruit, rounded out by pear and caramel. A diverse aroma hop that's packs a punch when dry hopped in pilsners, pale ales and IPAs.
Tariffs are now applied to all European hops imported into the U.S. for the 2025 crop only. You will see a separate line item in your cart and at checkout reflecting the 12.5% tariff. If you have any questions, please reach out.
