Ekuanot® was commercially released in 2014 by the Hop Breeding Company. Ekuanot boasts a bouquet of fruity and citrus notes including melon, berry, lime, apple and papaya, rounded by fresh green pepper. Agronomically, Ekuanot is incredibly unique with high alpha and extremely high oil content. It stands out in the hop fields every spring, with vibrant yellow cones growing along the twine. A distinctive, expressive hop that refuses to blend in.

EKUANOT® HOP SUBSTITUTIONS
Ekuanot is high in citrus, fruit, and herbs making it a great hop for aroma. El Dorado, Mosaic, and Talus all carry these same flavor keys. Try any of these three hops in your next brew to substitute Ekuanot.
