Glycerine | Various Sizes
Glycerine, also known as finishing formula, is used to smooth and mellow homemade liqueurs and add body. When used in wines, it adds body and elevates the texture, while in younger wines, glycerine can help moderate severe components. Before you add glycerine, make sure to rack the sediment off and mix it well into the wine.
To use add 1-3 tablespoons of Glycerine per gallon, but do not use more than 4 tablespoons per gallon.
