Cashmere Hop Pellet Profile
Looking for a unique, dual purpose hop variety? Cashmere hops were developed by Washington State University and released in 2013, Cashmere is the result of a marriage of Cascade and Northern Brewer. Fortuitously, it features alpha acids higher than that of Cascade. A good dual-purpose hop, Cashmere showcases flavors lemon, lime and melon, exhibits a smooth bitterness and is mildly aromatic with a subtle herbal bouquet.

"I purchased a pound of Cashmere hops which is something I can’t get at my LHBS. The package arrived quickly and despite some damage to the box (not YVH’s fault) the hops were beautifully sealed. When I opened the package, the hops smelled great. My first batch is in the fermenter right now and it smells amazing! I wish I would’ve bought from YVH sooner. Considering that an ounce of hops costs me $5 at my LHBS, buying a pound for $15 is a steal (even after shipping)! I will definitely be shopping at YVH again and again!"
